I haven't been in Visual Studio 2012 in over a week, so got in just now, and saw that there was an update to the Silverlight tools, so I was downloading and installing them. During the download process VS 2012 suddenly crashed. In looking at the event log I saw the following:

Faulting application name: devenv.exe, version: 11.0.51106.1, time stamp: 0x5098c6d7
Faulting module name: clr.dll, version: 4.0.30319.18033, time stamp: 0x50b5a638
    Exception code: 0xc00000fd
    Fault offset: 0x00002ce0
    Faulting process id: 0x1438
    Faulting application start time: 0x01ce3322fbdb9e6a
Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 11.0\Common7\IDE\devenv.exe
    Faulting module path: C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\clr.dll
    Report Id: 5bb3ebef-9f16-11e2-be7d-0026180715c6
    Faulting package full name:
    Faulting package-relative application ID:

Could this be a problem with Telerik's installer, or is this a problem with Visual Studio 2012?

    Hi Rod,

From the log you have sent us it is not clear what is the exact reason for this crash.

I have tried to reproduce the problem, but everything works fine on my side.

You could try to download the new version again in order to check whether this will happen again and if so you could send us the Visual studio activity log file (for this purpose you should start Visual Studio with logging).
