I have read the following two threads: radspell-dictionaries.aspx and thesaurus.aspx.

Can you advise me if Telerik is still planning on implementing the Google service spellchecking as well as the ability to attach directly and use the OpenOffice dictionaries, if so when is this likely to be implemented and can you provide a a general time frame (in 6 - 8 months time or in 12-18 months time)?

I am thinking of creating numerous spell checker dictionaries for my project, but I am thinking it may be prudent to wait until these features are implemented by Telerik.

Hello Matt,

This feature kind of keeps getting pushed back to make way for other features that people request more often. So far we have not been able to get to do it - e.g. to allocate enough time for researching the Google API and how to best hook to it. The feature is included in our internal plans for the coming Q3 2009 later this year, but I cannot guarantee at this point that it will appear - as it might turn out that some Google restrictions might prevent us from hooking properly. If it was a purely Telerik-related feature, I would be able to provide you a much more definite answer.

Sincerely yours,
