I know this is the TFS integration forum, but I wanted to see if any github questions could be answered here as well.

I currently have github integration setup, but I'm not seeing anything in my source tab.  What do I need to do to get this updated?

Hi Neil,

I'm sorry for your troubles with TeamPulse.

You can read more about configuring TeamPulse with GitHub here. If you have done the settings correctly please check if your TeamPulse Integration Service is running. If it is running you could restart it. You can do that from the windows Administrative Tools\services. If you still experiencing this issue i'll ask you to send us your Log files located in {TeamPulse-install-folder}\Logs\.

I'm looking forward for your answer.

Regards,

Service is running, and restarted.  Everything *appears* to be running in teampulse correctly.  I'll try and send you the most recent log.

I have had our sysadmin make a support ticket and attach the log.

Hi Neil,

Thank you for sending the logs. It looks like the server is not able to establish connection with github. Can you, please, update us with the following info so we can further investigate this issue:
  • Double-check if the server's Internet connectivity is working properly?
  • If your local network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that the server is permitted to access the Web.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Hi Elena -

Yes, both internet access is on and firewall is open.

To test, I just cloned the repository on that machine using the login that teampulse has for integration.  It pulled the repo without a problem.

I have just tried to set it up with an access token instead.  I'll update the thread when that processes to see if it works.  Is there anyway I can force a sync with github, or should I just wait?

I guess sync happens immediately... what's the difference between sync & process?

Hi Neil,

Thank you for the update. I am happy  to hear the integration is now up and running.

Currently, we do not provide a way to force a sync. However, you can schedule the automatic synchronization by editing CheckForSyncsIntervalInMinutes="10"  in the Integration Service configuration file. For more info on setting up automatic synchronization follow this link: http://docs.telerik.com/teampulse/integration-guide/tfs-integration/tfs-work-item-synchronization/configuring-synchronization/automatic-synchronization

Do not hesitate to contact us again if you need any further assistance.
