Geolocation page not showing map

Hi, when the hello world app runs within the simulator the map shows up fine on the Geolocation page.  However if I run it on my iPad within Ion or as a deployed app no map is displayed.  Any ideas on why this might be?  Thanks.

Hi David,

This is known issue. What iOS version your iPad is running? geolocation depends on OS version and not working in iOS 6. This will be fixed in following releases when new Cordova version is available.

Yeah, I'm on iOSv6.  What's the best way of being informed of the emergence of a new Cordova release and what's the procedure for getting a new Cordova release integrated into an existing Icenium project?

Hi David,

You can monitor the Cordova blog here for upcoming new versions. It usually takes us a couple of weeks to test the new version and provide support for it in Icenium.

Regarding the update procedure - the process will be as easy as updating a property from the project properties in Icenium.
