Hello Guys,
I am using Q1 2015 licensed version of Telerik Reporting. It works great for generating PDF reports but not that well when working with HTML format.
While trying to generate HTML report through Report processor's render report method then gives error if NoDataMessage is set for Graphs.
As you will be knowing that when we generate HTML report through Report processor then it gives HTML streams as an Output & we have to save images [for graphs & charts] and HTML files to disk. so while generating Graph/Chart, I want to display some message for empty data then what steps are required? (Tried with NoDataMessage property but not working so please provide some other way around or solution for same)
Thanks in advance :)

Nirav

A test perfoemed with Telerik Reporting Q1 2015 SP1 v9.0.15.422(an internal build) results in successful export of reports in HTML5 and HTML5Interactive formats.
For the test we used the code from Exporting a report to a multi document format:and a report with Graph item, where the Graph item has a filer for its data and we set its NoDataMessage (How to: Set a No Data Message).
Please test the suggested internal build, and if you need further help elaborate on the problem on exporting in HTML format.

Hi Stef,
Thanks for the prompt reply :).
Currently i am using Telerik reporting version of 9.0.15.324 . and as I mentioned i am still getting the error if No data message property is set for a graph. I have created one sample project. please find the attachments, if I try to run the project then it will throw error as I have set the property but if I remove it then it will generate the report.
Please let me know the way around to set Nodatamessage as currently I am not able to do :(
Thanks in advance!!
The attached demo project illustrates a Graph item that can be successfully exported in HTML format. Please compare the settings to yours. Note that the available rendering extensions are HTML5 and HTML5Interactive.

Hi Stef,
Thanks for the sample project !!
I just needed to generate report of 'HTML5' type rather then 'HTML' type and it started working. But i guess Telerik should also support this for HTML type. so let us know if its possible otherwise HTML5 worked for me now.
And one more doubt, is this HTML5 type report works in IE9? i dont think it will as only modern browsers are supporting HTML5 so if not then how can i solve above issue in case of IE9?
Thanks in advance!!

The Telerik Reporting rendering extensions do not include HTML, so it is not possible to render as HTML.
Detailed information on the Internet Explorer 9 HTML5 support can be found in the Internet Explorer 9 Guide for Developers page.
