Working through some sample code with GanttView, and I'm wondering if I am able to do any of the following either by some level of re-templating or via support that I haven't yet discovered with the control's OM:

1. In-line labeling of milestones or summary tasks. I believe the control will apply a label inline with a task (shows up in the interior of the task timeline graphic). Can I do something similar for milestone diamonds and summary tasks?

2. Rollup views. Is there a way that I can show, for example, milestones or tasks laid on top of/inline with a summary task? E.g, can I get the same 'task rollup' functionality that we have today in Microsoft Project?

3. In general, is there some sample XAML that demonstrates changing the appearance of tasks/milestones/summary tasks?

Thanks!

Hi Lars,

Currently we don't support points 1 and 2, but we will consider adding then in our TODO list. Inline labeling could be partially achieved by changing the control templates of the the summary and the milestone containers and placing some negative margins according to the expected text length.

The attached sample project demonstrates how to change the look of tasks, summaries and milestones and how to show inline label for those that don't have one.

Hope this helps.
