We are having issues with both the Windows Client AND the In-Browser client.  We are testing developing our app in NativeScript AND Hybrid.

We are having a couple of issues.

1. We have one developer creating an app in the In-Browser client.  NONE of the other team members can see ANY of the changes that developer has made. I thought the cloud was supposed to save the changes.  I thought if I logged into my account, I would then see the changes the other developer made.  This is not the case. We don't have any version control set up because we work in close proximity of each other and thought we would not need version control since we thought the cloud was supposed to sync any changes made by the developers.

2. When I go into the Windows Client IDE, I still can not see any of the changes made by the other developers. My understanding is that the In-Browser and Windows Client IDE were all supposed to sync with each other.  So when changes are save, the other developer should be able to go back into the Client and see any changes the other developer made.

3. We are having the same issue when we were trying to develop both Hybrid AND Native apps.

We are trying to figure out the issue and whether this is on our side or on Telerik's side.  It does not seem from our end that the Telerik cloud is updating.
When someone using the In-Browser Client makes changes, if another person supposed to be able to see those changes from a different browser viewing the same project?

Please reply with any information you can provide. I have searched the forums and the internet with not answers relating to our issue.

Hi Carlos,

I posted a reply in the support ticket you submitted and I will summarize it here so that the community can also benefit from the information.

The behavior you describe is actually expected - AppBuilder does save the changes a developer makes and they can be accessed through both the Windows and In-Browser clients. However, only the developer who made the changes can see these changes unless you configure the project for collaboration.

AppBuilder projects are not configured for collaboration by default. This means that when a new project is created, the project automatically becomes visible to all team members of the account. However, they cannot contribute or see your changes in the project. To collaborate with other users in AppBuilder, you need to configure your project for collaboration by setting up a GitHub repository and inviting the other Telerik Platform users as collaborators to it. Once you do that you can push any local changes in the remote repository and allow your team members to pull the changes in their own local repositories in Telerik Platform.

The following tutorials provide more information on that topic:

Visit the Telerik Verified Plugins Marketplace and get the custom Cordova plugin you need, already tweaked to work seamlessly with AppBuilder.

Hi Tina,

Thanks for the response. I responded to the Support Ticket.  But hopefully this will help other teams.  I did not know that the cloud syncing was per developer and not per team or per project.  I thought I checked the documentation to find this dependency but I may have missed it.
