Hi,

Currently I am using Radial Gauge and linear Gauge control version 2010.2.924.1040.
Recently i have downloaded Free_Controls_for_Silverlight_2011_3_1116.
While i am using the Radial Gauge in to my application it is showing the older style only like as with black background.
Please suggest me how can i change the style for Radial Gauge like as below url
http://www.telerik.com/products/silverlight/controls/gauge.aspx

Please find the attachment for screen shot of my project output.

Thanks in Advance,
Kannan S

Hi Kannan,

Since 2011.Q3 release we introduced a new beta version of the gauge control. It is almost new control redesigned from scratch. However the free controls for Silverlight do not contain it. The 2011.Q3 release also contains the old version of the gauge control which is contained in free controls. Our demo application now references new gauge control and demonstrates its features. So, there is no simple way to use the built-in styles of the new gauge for the old one.

I come with the opposite request.
I have the new gauge control, and I would like to take a style from an older version:
For the new control, this style I want:

I would appreciate if someone could help me with this.
Thank you!

Hi Grégory,

Here is a copy of my answer from the private thread concerning the same issue:

Our new gauges (since Q3 2011) have simple and quite flat default themes. Here is a preview of all nine skins. Our idea was to introduce simple structure which can be easily customized.

As for the colors of the Gauge you want to change - if you need the same feel (black background with gradient over it and gray borders), this can be easily set by using the exposed
OuterBackground, OuterBorderBrush,OuterBorderThickness, InnerBackground and InnerBorderBrush properties of the new gauge. However if you need the exact look of the old gauge (the rays and the masks), then it will be best to create a Custom Template.

Let me know how this works for you and whether you need further assistance.
