If I search for "FocusOnLoad", why isn't it returning a match for this post http://www.telerik.com/asp-net-community/forums/forum-thread.aspx?b311D=JqOJO  - which does have that text in it?

Or is that the secret of the new "fast" search algorithm :-)

Hi David,

As mentioned in some other forum threads on the topic, we aware of the fact that the new search needs some fine tuning so that all threads are indexed. We are working on the problem. In the meantime we'll bring back the old search to make it easier for our website visitors to find what they need in a specific forum. Thank you for letting us know this specific thread is not indexed.

Kind regards,

You guys mentioned you will bring back the old forum system, or you would at least have an Advanced Search button that would implement the old forums system.  Has this been done, or How would I find this?  I can't seem to find it on the website yet.  It has been about two weeks since this idea was mentioned.

Thanks,

David

Hi David,

The old forums search is not back on the site yet. We are still working on it since we couldn't just put it back on the site, but needed to integrate the two searches (the old and the new one) in the best way possible. We are almost done and most probably the old search will be back either by the end of this week or the beginning of next. I want to thank everyone for the patience and understanding.

All the best,
