Hello 贾,

In our online help you can find an article called Add/Remove tools from the toolbar . In order to enable the Flash Manager you need to add the following line to the respective ToolsFile.xml.
<tool name="FlashManager" />

I hope this helps.

Hi 贾,

I was not able to reproduce the problem on our side. Could you please provide the content of your ToolsFile.xml (you may upload the file somewhere, so I will be able to download it).

Thank you.

Hello 贾,

Could you please check if the problem will persist, if you remove the following code from the ToolsFile.xml?
<tool name="MOSSInsertTableElement" dropDownWidth="180"
  <tool name="InsertRowAbove" />
  <tool name="InsertRowBelow" />
  <tool name="InsertColumnLeft" />
  <tool name="InsertColumnRight" />
</tool>

Thank you.

Hi 贾,

I suggest to you to upgrade to the latest version of the RadEditor for MOSS, which now is 5.3.2. You can download trial version from our site http://www.telerik.com/account/free-trials.aspx. In our online help you can find upgrade Instructions from version 4.x to version 5.x http://www.telerik.com/help/aspnet-ajax/upgrade-instructions-from-v4-to-v5.html

I hope this helps.

Sincerely yours,

Hi

I'm getting the same error in RadHtmlField when I try to add flash or media. I have RadEditor version 4.5.3 installed on MOSS. Can this issue be resolved without upgrading to the newer version?

Dejan

Hi Dejan,

If you are using the lite version of RadEditor for MOSS you can not use the Flash Manger dialog. I attach a feature comparison where you can see the differences between the RadEditor for MOSS versions.

Hi Stanimir,

Thank you for your fast reply but I have one more question. How can I see what version of RadEditor I have installed on moss (lite or full)? I didn't work on this project from begging so I don't know installed version. All I can see, it is the RadEditor version 4.5.3.

Thanks,
Dejan

Hi Dejan,

One easy way to check if you are using the Lite version of the RadEditor for MOSS is to go to the Skins folder (Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\wpresources\RadEditorSharePoint\4.5.3.0__1f131a624888eeed\RadControls\Editor\Skins) and check, which skins are available. There are only two skins available for this version. The Default and the Default2006.

I hope this helps.

Best wishes,
