Hi,

When I use some chars in filenamnes, the filename is changed when the file have arrived to the server. Like ASCII 229, ASCII 249 (åäö). These chars is change to something else. Why? Is there a way to avoid this?

All settiings on the server is Swedish but that doesn´t help. Windows Server 2008.

Hi Raymond,

Thank you for reporting the issue.

Could you share with us more about the environment setting - both at client and at server side. It seems that all the three characters are represented by double-byte signature we would like to investigate the source of this encoding.

Looking forward for your reply.

PS: According to your report we updated your Telerik points.

Kind regards,

Hi,

Server:
Windows 2008. Swedish version. All settings are Swedish.

Client:
Windows 7. English version. Att settings are Swedish.

I have also tested on a client with Vista Swedish version, all settings in swedish. Result: The same - filename is changed.

When I try on the local Windows 7 it works correct.
