Hi Bo,
I would have to disagree that this would be a good thing. I basically turn off the ability to move / rename / delete files in all cases because it can - actually it WILL - create broken links. Of course, if you're just using the *Manager as a web-based FTP engine then there are other, more suitable options that would have the functionality you want (treeview / gridview scenario).
Just my two cents anyway. You can control the environment; you can't control the user.
Shaun.

Hi Shaun.
You are right about the broken links.
I was thinking when the initial upload was an "ups", it would be a nice feature.
But maybe an "OnMoveFile/OnMoveFolder='CallMyRutineTheAjaxWay'" event could be triggered. Here we would fix the links.
Anyway it would be good style, in my opinion, to offer drag/drop as a property, so the developer could choose to use it or not.

Hi guys,
As you know we are planning to migrate all RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX. Our plans also include adding the RadTreeview to the RadEditor "Prometheus" dialogs - this will give you the option for dragging and dropping files in the control's FileBrowser.
Sincerely yours,
Georgi Tunev
