Yesterday i installed Fiddler2 on my PC (stable public version) and at registry saw version, but at download page ( i saw Fiddler version!

Now at download page ( i saw that you build a new version of Fiddler

I download it, but version is the same (still Fiddler

    The same situation with Fiddler4

Why do you use two different versions - for public page and for real version of app? That's very uncomfortable!

Most of all, if i installed version of Fiddler and try to update it thru autoupdater, i would have no available updates. But if i installed version later (for example, i would install Fiddler version thru your autoupdater, but on your download page i saw public stable version (that's all i tested yesterday)

    Please, can you fix it?

    Hi, Jenny--

I don't know what you mean when you say "at registry saw version," but the only supported way to get Fiddler's version information is via the Help > About Fiddler menu command.

Fiddler 2.6 and 4.6 shipped yesterday and the pages were updated at that time. If you attempted to download the latest version at that time, you should have received it, but it is possible that one of the CDNs (or even your local computer) had cached the old version. You may find that downloading from your browser's "Private" or "Incognito" mode resolves this issue.

Fiddler's AutoUpdater is throttled to control the rate at which automatic upgrades roll out (to limit load and allow us to check for problems over time). As a consequence, most users are not presently offered an automatic upgrade to 2.6/4.6, but will be in the next week or two.
