Hi,

I was wondering if documentation exists for Fiddler's installation exit codes. I am running silent installs on Windows 7-based VDI machines via PowerShell and I'm getting an exit code of 15 intermittently.

If anyone can pass this documentation along, or tell me what exit code 15 signifies, that would be great.

Thanks!
Jerry

Hi, Jerry--

Unfortunately, these codes are not presently documented. Error Code 15 occurs when the installer is unable to write to a file, either because the file is in use or because it is stored in a location for which the ACLs do not permit writing.

You could figure out exactly which file write is failing using a tool like SysInternals' Process Monitor.

Thanks for the information, Eric. I'll take a look at process monitor and go from there.
