Hi,

We are using team pulse for stories and visual studios for writing feature file. When we write featurefile (Gherkin language) we are tagging the story number for every scenario.

Is there a way that we can track or view the link feature file to the story in Team pulse. so that we can get a trace-ability of stories and featurefile?

Regards,

Srinivas

Hello Srinivas,

Thank you for your interest in TeamPulse.

Unfortunately TeamPulse does not support direct linking between resource files and work items in the product but if you are using TFS, Git or SVN source control for storing these files you could use our source control integration to solve your problem.

If you add the #ID of the story to the commit (check-in) message in the source control (in your case when add new file or update existing one), the corresponding commit (check-in) will be linked to the story and will be shown in the source tab in TeamPulse interface.

For example if you write "Some text #17 some text" for a message when you add/update feature file in couple of minutes our system will associate the commit (check-in) with the story - where 17 is the id of the story in TeamPulse.

Using this integration you will be able to find the related feature files to a specific story only by using TeamPulse.

You can find more information about our source control integration here:
