Small feature request that i personally feel is a deal breaker for me, should i ever decide to ditch another add-in in favour for JustCode.

the ability to turn "adding closing } on new line" on/off - i know it sounds rather comical that something that small could be a win-loose situation, but after having used add-ins that does this for me for years, it's "frustrating" that it doesn't provide that option.

to extend on this then having this addition to it would be excellent too.

"adding closing } on new line, insert line break and place cursor on indented line" would be excellent..

small, but very, very important feature for me..and lets face it, it's the small things that adds up in the end and provide a bigger, overall positive experience.

Hi Brian,
I agree with you that although small, this is an important feature. It is already in our product backlog, together with other small but helpful ones. Your request just raised the priority of that particular feature.

Happy coding,

Still waiting for this feature...

the lack of this feature is seriously slowing down my productivity (yes i know, it's a tiny, tiny thing) and it's frustrating when you're used to it being delivered by ReSharper (which i uninstalled to run JustCode).

Any news on when it might be included - said the priority was raised on it, but insofar as i can see (latest version installed) it's still not there.

Hello Brian,
We still have plans for this feature to be included in the first official release.
Recently we have been working hard on performance improvements and bug fixes for the first official release. That's why we haven't added many new features.
I can't tell you officially when it will be ready, but my hopes are till the end of the month :)

All the best,

Hi,

this feature is in the current release (2010.1.233.0) now, right? You have to enable it by Options/General/Use typing assistance.
I tried it today and by my first watch I was satisfied. Then I did some everyday-coding and got frustrated:
The closing brackets appear, that's good. But if you type, you don't even think of the closing brackets. So sometimes I write the closing bracket by hand and generate an error because the closing bracket is already there. I wish that if JustCode added the closing bracket and I type it by hand the doubled bracket gets deleted automatically.

Is there a possibilty to get that feature, too (in ReSharper it's solved for me in a very satisfying manner)?

Greetings,
Daniel

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for the feedback. We have also noticed that is such cases JustCode should be smarter and handle better user input. We have it in our backlog and will fix it in the near future.
