One feature that I keep being requested, is, to create image list/display, which is the ability to have a vertical or horizontal thumbnail list of images that come from a list and as the user clicks on one then be able to show that image in larger size with special effect coming to display and out of display.

The list should also, offer the effect as the ,mouse go over, to either gets like bubble or have light effect on.

This list should also accept large images instead of small, and should have the ability to auto scroll to left or right for presentation purpose. The list could form like straight horizontal or vertical line or in curve shape. But it should have the ability to be bound to a database for a dynamic list.

Hope this will make it to the list!

p.s. Just came across this. Check the WebCover Flow

Hello Ben,

We will work on porting our RadCarousel for WPF to Silverlight.

Check - out the demo here:
http://www.telerik.com/demos/wpf/ -> Choose "Carousel" control.

Valentin; This looks excellent.

A couple of things:
When you click on any of those choices, the choice spins and opens up and when you close, it spins and closes. I want to do that in Silverlight with Window or other objects. How is that done? I've been trying it with Skew or rotate transform to spin a page and can not get the same effect as yours ;-)

Secondly, I really like the way the opening screen arranges the items in half circle. Are they being rotated a few angles each to give a circle effects?
You guys are good... ;-)

Hello,

I have a quick question which might seem a little too obvious but please help me out.

Your RadCarousel for WPF example is really cool. What I don't understand is why are you able to build it with WPF, post it to a website.... and I can view it in IE 7?

I guess I'm wondering... if you can do that with WPF then why can't I??? Shouldn't I be able to use the WPF version and get the same affect on my ASP 3.5 page?

Please let me know and thanks!

Dave

Dave, the app is done in WPF/Xbap where the WPF app runs inside of of the IE as ActiveX. What's more interesting is that, I was able to run it in FF3.
