Export to PDF Bug

I am not able to export gantt for all views. I have Year and week view set. Year exports fine but when I try to export week i have blank pdf. I also tried to export  day on demo on http://demos.telerik.com/kendo-ui/gantt/pdf-export and I am not able to export it.

I this bug or I am missing something?

Hello,

I am able to export the day view and open it. One possible reason that it fails for you is that the exported page is 34 meters wide.
This will stumble most PDF viewers. I've used the Ubuntu document viewer and it seems to handle it.

Our clients use only Adobe and excel. Is there any workaround? Is it possible, if it is to wide, to choose start date and end date for printing? Is there option to export to excel then?? If it is possible to export to excel then clients can set page to print for desired format ?

Hi,

The export process currently works on the DOM level. It always exports everything that's visible.
Limiting the data range should be done in advance, before the export operation starts. I'll update the demo to make this step clear.

The alternative would be to split the output in pages. This is something that we haven't tried with the Gantt.

Please, file a request for this feature on our UserVoice portal if you have minute.
I can't confirm the technical feasibility of this right away, but we will update the feature request once we know.
