On the menu you have an option to export to Excel but it only exports to XML - misleading I think.

Hi Jim, You're right. I'll look into why this is so. From an end-user perspective, the advertised excel'ability is arguable diminished somewhat because of the generic xml-extension - you have to say "Open in... Excel" or drag it to Excel to open it, as opposed to if the file extension had simply been *.xlsx which would open automatically by Excel. best regards, Richard Flamsholt EQATEC Team

Even better would be to fire Excel with the file (assuming Excel is loaded on PC) I've done this myself - not that difficult. There are a few Dev tools that have this functionality embedded.

also is it possible to export date and time stamp for each feature use that would be helpful to check user activity more closely

    Hello Bhagvan,

You'd not be able to access the timestamp for each individual feature usage, since that data is aggregated on the client into a single number. We are currently tracking the individual timestamps of e.g. exceptions and feature timings so those are registered but not currently surfaced for downloads.

If you have a specific scenario where you'd need this kind of very fine grained user activity checks I'd love to get further details.

    Hello Vikas,

I don't believe your question is related to the Analytics service. Please note that in order to have the community or our tech support engineers address your questions, you need to post them under the product they are targeting.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Hi Vikas,

You send a few questions requiring about a Grid component but I am still at a loss which component you use. Can you please confirm if your are using the RadGrid component for ASP.NET AJAX. If this is indeed the case, then you will need to post this question in the RadGrid forum.

Do let me know if there is anything I am missing and if you are utilizing our Analytics service.
