How can users back-end data be exported? e.g. for reporting.

Hello Matthew,

I have answered your other question about exporting data, the same applies to users. Here is the link:

http://www.telerik.com/community/forums/export-appbuilder-cloud-data

Note, that the users are somewhat special, there is no way to read their passwords and some other system data. This means they cannot be exported for backup.

For reporting purposes the exposed API should be enough.

Let me know if you have other questions.

Hello Eric,

Storing user passwords in a format that can be reversed to the actual password is a security vulnerability. This is why we are only storing hashed versions that you cannot import elsewhere.

We are exploring possibilities in that direction, but we still do not have a solution for this.

In any case, we keep backups of the data, so in case of accidental deletion we have means to restore it.
