Am getting: "This application was created for an expired beta release of silverlight"

The latest silverlight build should be: 4.0.50401.0

I posted this yesterday in another thread....

Here's a short term fix to get around the Silverlight expired issue.

  1. Un-install Sivlerlight (current version) from both the server and your PC (otherwise you cannot connect to the TeamPulse web site)
  2. Go to http://www.filehippo.com/download_silverlight/7214/ and download Silverlight 4.0.50303 RC (8.1 MB file size).
  3. Install this on the server and your PC.

You now can connect to your TeamPulse server..   :)

Hello all,

At this time TeamPulse is currently built against the RC version of .NET 4 and Silverlight 4. We understand this may be frustrating for those who have upgraded to the RTM versions, but a new version of TeamPulse built against Silverlight 4 RTM and .NET 4 RTM is in the works, and will be released as soon as possible.

Kind regards,
David Harris

To roll back versions of SL is not an option for us at this stage, we will have to wait for the Team Pulse Update.

Do you know of a date for the next Team Pulse release?

Hi Nick,

As our product is built upon the Telerik RadControls for Silverlight we have had a dependency on their SL4 RTM release before we can finalize and perform full regression testing of a build of TeamPulse built against the SL4 RTM components.

The RadControls for Silverlight have been released to us this afternoon, and so that dependency has now passed. We now enter the phase of integration with this new build and serious regression testing.

Hi David

Any news on the update?
If in testing, would it be possible to get an internal build before the release?

Hi Nick,

The update is currently being tested internally, will be released as soon as possible. Unfortunately I do not believe I can get you an internal build, but hopefully the wait will not be too much longer.
