I'm really strugling with this. I'm not one of the best template styler and can't get this done.
I have donwloaded all the Styling examples, but they have lot's of styles changed including the default button etc.
I just wanted the background color of the header to be a solid color...that's all. Where can I set that? I have added a border element into the header of the Expander, but then I just have the right part of the expander that color and the color of the part where the button is is still transparent.
Any suggestions, for this simple thing?

Hello Iwan van Ee,
Unfortunately there is no straightforward way to set the Header background. The easiest way to do it is with Blend by editing the default HeaderControlTemplate.
Could you please examine the attached project and there on row 96 of the MainPage.xaml file you'll find the Grid that represents the Header. If you have any further questions feel free to ask.
