    Hi,

as in your forums here I have the problem at an own project where users can paste code.
The codeblocks get spellchecked - and you can imagine that this is a bit frustrating.

Is there a way to exclude such ranges from spellchecking?
To be precise - I'm not talking about pasting code in the normal textflow.
I talk about "format codeblock" ranges.

    Regards

    Manfred

    Hi Manfred,

It is not clear from your post whether you are referring to the AJAX spellchecking in RadEditor for ASP.NET AJAX, or whether you have your own editor/textbox that uses the independent RadSpell control.

In either case, it should be possible to achieve this functionality and "strip" portions of the content that you wish to not be checked. Please let us know whether in your scenario you use RadEditor so that we know how to approach the issue and help you further

Looking forward to hearing from you,
    Tervel

    Yes,

I use RadEditor - and from the toolbar in RadEditor (extended to use English and German) Rad Spell.

Again - I guess it is the same scenario here in the forums -- where I first had the "bitter experience" to spellcheck a post with code included.

    Hi Manfred,

Thank you for your explanation and feature request.

I logged it in our ToDo list and we will implemented it for one of the upcoming SP releases of RadEditor.
