Exceptions : 2 suggestons

1. It would be nice to specify exception importance (we report not only crashes but also unexpected exceptions that result in errors but application keeps running) so far we do it using prefix in the Context, it might be worth to attach byte flag to the exception reporting API which would allow to report a flag that we could later sort/filter by 2. Exceptions filtering : I'd love to be able to search through the exeptions. In our specific case it'd be awesome to add exceptiod GUID ar simple Tag (fastest for search) - this is for linking equatec exceptions with other issue tracing systems. Alternatively,the most awesome thing would be ability to search through Context, status, exception type etc... so we can nail it down to the things we're interested in. Regards, Lukasz

Hi Lukasz Thanks for the suggestions. We have been contemplating some form of textual search from the exception page, so all feedback on the specific needs and requests for this are much appreciated. There is no definite time frame for such a feature but it is on our radar. We have an existing request in our feature tracking database for something similar to a priority/importance flag on e.g. unhandled or crashing exceptions but your suggestion is the first confirmation of this we have heard in a while. I'll add your vote to this feature and we'll see when it is added. We are generally a bit apprehensive about adding features to our monitoring library, since we want to keep the API slim and focused so no promises :) Keep the feedback and suggestions coming Best regards Soren EQATEC Team
