Hi,

I'm having this problem wherein I couldn't connect on a pop up browser.

At first instance the script runs without any error, but once the next iterations are run the step is failing already.

I already tried shortening the URL address, clicked on PartialURL tick box but to no avail.

what could be causing this error?

trying to add a jing file but it exceeds the allowed 2mb attachment file size.

if there's an email add where i can send the file to kindly advise. thanks.

Hello Niccolo,

You can upload the file in dropbox and provide the link here or any other file sharing platform.

Regarding the problem experienced this is usually due to dynamic part in the popup url, which you are saying you overcome with using partial url. I need to verify this so any screenshots or videos are more than welcome.
This also may occur if the popup url is redirecting to another url, if that is the case you need to put an execution delay after the step that is triggering the popup and use as popup url the redirected url.

This would be much more easier if you can provide us with your test and direct access to your application so we can continue investigating.

Thank you for your cooperation in advance.

Hello Niccolo,

From the video provided I do not see the popup URL to be shortened. Shorten the URL to http://trips-dev.egovhana.com:8888/trips-gui/faces/ and give it a try again.

If you continue experiencing problems please provide us with the test and access to the application and we will take a look.

Hi Ivaylo,

It took a while before i could reply, Well the good news is I was able to have a minor success in shortening the URL on one module, bad news is that the same technique doesn't work on another, what could be the reason for this?

I can't provide access to the application due to security reasons though I could share my desktop to you if we can work something out. Let me know, I'm currently based in Accra,Ghana GMT+0.

Hi Ivaylo,

I think I found my solution already to this and currently its a stable one for all modules that I'm working out with.
