All the underscores OA likes to generate allover the place for crazyass column names...
They're so the OA designer generates the correct casing with word delimiters aren't they!

No, I am sorry to disappoint you but they are not. This is functionality that is left over from the old forward mapping wizard. We have this functionality scheduled for refactoring for one of our next releases.
