Hello. I moved my site to another server and now, when I try to upload a file via Rad Upload script here is what i get.
" Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {FC7A96B0-4DEC-11D4-9C83-0080ADA78DDF} failed due to the following error: 80040154."
Upon further inspection I got on this page: http://support.persits.com/show.asp?code=PS071016166
I talked to the support from there and I was told that the component DLL was not registered on my server so I ordered it and now am waiting to get the download instructions.

So, i just want to make sure this error is not caused by Rad Upload. The script hasn't been touched, just the server was changed. Any opinions ?

Installed AspUpload and I'm still getting the same error. Do I need to adjust something else to Rad Upload ?

Hello Dan,

When moving on a different server you do not need to configure additionally the RadUpload as long as you are moving the whole site together with its corresponding WebConfig. The error that you are receiving does not seem to have anything in concern with the RadUpload.

Thank you so very much for your reply. All web.config remained intact, all script files remained intact. I am getting that error no matter what I try :(

Hi Dan,

it looks as if you are dealing with a third party product which implements it's own "upload infrastructure".
I guess you can't mix this with RadUpload.

You should try to remove this stuff and use RadUpload as it is.
There is no need to register COM components on the server or other things like this as with the third party control.

Regards

Manfred
