Hi,

I deploy the new RadEditor version 4.4.1.0 insteadof 4.3.2.0.
I found 2 error from the event viewer application as below :

- (Event ID: 6611) Error: Failure in loading assembly: RadEditorSharePoint, Version=4.3.2.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=1f131a624888eeed
- Error: Failure in loading assembly: RadSpell.Net2, Version=3.1.2.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b5dad7bf2bf594c2

I checked web.config and  all files in RadEditorSharepoint folder (C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\wpresources\RadEditorSharePoint) . They correctly point to new version. Could you please investigate it.

The server is window 2003.

Regards,
lee

Hi lee,

I think that you need to update the SharePoint application's main web.config file (the one in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\wss\VirtualDirectories\port\). Add the <bindingRedirect> elements there and the editor will load OK. I assume that you are following the upgrade instructions from the editor documentation - http://www.telerik.com/help/radeditormoss/Upgrade%20to%20a%20newer%20version%20of%20RadEditor%20for%20MOSS.html

Hi,
I have the same error, but the solution page doesn't load anymore. Can you advise of the location to the correct article please?

Error: Failure in loading assembly: RadEditorSharePoint, Version=4.5.6.0 - we're on version 5.8.0.0

In the meanwhile I'll carry on looking through all web.configs and the bindings to see if I can spot anything obvious.

Thanks,
Jason.
