Hi

While transferring a project to another system, when run, a type initialization exception occurs by chance (for the EntityDiagrams). We use SVN. It happens when downloaded from there, but only every once in a while.
Is this a known problem?

Thanks in advance for your help
Kind regards
Roman

Hi Roman,

We have not met similar problem on our side so far. Could you give us a stack trace of the exception, as from the information you have given us so far, it is not possible for us to make the conclusion about the cause of this problem.

Hi Roman,

Let me share  some details on how this exception occurs:
  • When a project that contains an .rlinq file is being built in Visual Studio, a dedicated MsBuild Task runs that deploys this .rlinq as an embedded resource in the compiled assembly.
  • In order for this task to run properly, OpenAccess should be installed on that machine.
  • If OpenAccess is not installed on the machine where you transferred the project and you have rebuilt the project on that machine, it might be the reason for the exception.

Kind regards,
Zoran
