The link on the email alerts are not coming through as proper links Example: Get more information about the exception by following the link: https://app.eqatec.com/#page=StatException&state=da2fa72d-ad55-4af6-a1d3-f047404e0328_194353

Hi Jim We adjusted this behavior not too long ago and I actually thought we nailed it but it seems I was mistaken. Here is what is supposed to happen: When you click the link you'll be directed to our web client and potentially be required to log in. Once logged in, you should be taken directly to the exception mentioned in the link. I'm guessing that you are not being taken to the exception in question. Could you do me a favor and try to log in to the web client before clicking the link (or simply pasting the link into the browser while you are logged in)? We've previously had some issues handling the case where you had to log in before being redirected and perhaps we haven't gotten rid of that issue yet. Let me know if any of the things are working for you Cheers Soren EQATEC Team

It's the link itself is not working - it doesn't have the underline or highlighted color - if I edit the email and put a space before and after the link it then underlines as per normal for a link.(see attached)

Hi Jim Thanks for clarifying. Seems the issue can be boiled down to the link in our email not automatically being highlighted and "clickable". We send the email as a plain text email (i.e. not html formatted) and perhaps this causes email clients to not interpret the link in the email as something that should be clickable. I'll add this into our issues list and we'll perhaps dig into this a little later. For now, hopefully you can just copy and paste the url and things will be working (just not as conveniently as expected) Hope this helps Soren EQATEC Team

Soren Just had a thought - so forwarded the email to my home addressand the link appears as it should - might be more to do with our email - I'll change email notification to go to my home email and see if that's ok. Cheers JimS

Hi Jim We use your email address as the primary identification so we do not support any way of changing that. If needed, I can do it manually, you just need to be aware that you need to use this new email when you log in. Cheers Soren EQATEC Team
