If you use the RadEditorHtmlInspector module and compare its HTML to the HTML view they are not consistent. Font styling is not consistent. In HTML view a span tag with style attributes is presented. However, the HTML module shows <FONT> tags. It almost seems like the module does not use the content filters.

I believe this is a bug and just looking for confirmation.

Hello Blair,

This is not a bug, it is due to the ConvertFontToSpan. When switching to HTML mode, font elements are replaced with span ones. In Design - span to fonts. The RadEditorHtmlInspector shows the content of the Design and it is not designed to correspond to the HTML mode.

You can just disabled the ConvertFontToSpan content filter to prevent the conversion. You can see how in the Content Filters article.
