Hi there,

Is there a configuration option for a placeholder for kendoEditor?
If not, how could I check that there is no text inside the editor?

Thank you,
Nisarg

I was able to do the most, the only problem is that there is no focus out/focus in event on the kendo editor. If I could only trigger those events when the body tag inside the iframe has/does not have class "k-state-active", then this problem would be solved.

If some one knows what kendo code to edit for this, please let me know.

Thanks,
Nisarg

Hello Nisarg,

At this time, there is no configuration option for a placeholder. You can vote for this feature on UserVoice.

As for focus in / out events, the focus / blur events of the iframe document might be suitable for this case. You can get the iframe window via the window field of the editor instance.
