Hello,

We have deployed RadControls for SharePoint 2007 (MOSS): Editor Lite solution to a farm with 2 WFE.

Made the required changes to deploy it at Site Collection level and activated both features.

It seems to work fine on one WFE but not on the other (tested using hosts file).

There were no errors in the deployment and no errors are reported in the event log.

Did multiple IISRESET to see if it fixes the issue, but no luck.

The features seem to be correctly deployed in the relevant folders on each WFE.

What could be causing this? How can we fix it?

Thank you.

Alex.

Hi Alex,

Could you confirm that you enabled the features in the second WFE logged as administrator?
You should know that the first time you enable the features you need to be logged as administrator. Afterwords you need to perform iisreset.

What do you mean by "enabled the features in the second WFE"???? The whole idea of a feature in MOSS is that you don't have to do it on each server in your farm. I was logged in as a site collection admin account from my client workstation when I enabled both features. Is there a different proccess I need to follow?

Hello Alex,

Make sure that you have the RadEditorList.ascx file in the Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\12\TEMPLATE\CONTROLTEMPLATES folder of both of your WFEs. After you copy the file make sure that you execute an iisreset again.
