E-Mail attachments in e-mail-notifications

Hello,

 I am using the E-Mail-Notifications Backend-Service with Templates. I want to attach files, such as images, to an email.

 

Is this possible?

Hello Thomas,

At the current stage Email Notifications in Backend Services do not support adding attachments.

May I suggest that you create a placeholder in the template and populate it with a link to the file for download/display when constructing the email context? Thus you can easily display an image in the email/add a link to it. Does this sound a feasible solution?
