Hello,
drag and group (or whatever it's called) does not work on mac os x when the silverlught application is installed OOB.

I tried on several machines, the silverlight application is running correctly, just the column headers cannot be dragged.
They do not move at all. It's working inside my browser.

It works perfectly in both mode on my windows 7 PC.

I'm suck as I work on windows but my clients are on mac os... 10.5.8 and up...

Any hints on that?
Thank you,
John.

Hello Yavor,

Thanks for the update...

Just know that the latest SL4 update from yesterday seems to solve the issue.

It's working again. Biut now I have another problem...

On the same mac computers on which I had the previuous issues...

Now, pressing the suppr key inside a radgrid does not work anymore...

It sould delete the selected line... but not anymore...

Wow, what pain... I very disapointed by the differences between pc and mac...

I know I don't tell you much by just telling you: "it does not work", but if you need me to make further tests, let me know,
Thanks...

John.

Hi John,

Could you please elaborate a bit? Which is the "suppr" key? How did you delete the selected line before?

Hello,
Sorry about that. I'm no mac specialist...
I was talking about the fn + backspace combination to simulate a Suppr key like on the PC.

I'm sorry to bother you but I'm reporting my problems as they come ss I'm meant to deliver my project to my client ASAP and things are not working like expected...

Let's try to rephrase the problem...

I have weird issues each time I publish an update to my solution. I develop on PC. No problem. Things work like expected.
My client is using apple notebook ranging from older mac book to newer mac book pro...

The problem is the following:

I deploy, everything is fine (except mouse scroll but this was a issue corrected by the latest SL4 update)
I deploy, drag and drop of radgrid columns does no longer work in oob scenarios
I deploy, it's working again but the fn + backspace combination does no longer delete rows in my grids like they did before
I just deployed again and everyhting is working fine again.

Each time I had problems I restarted the browser and even the laptop just to make sure. When I had one of the problems reported it stayed. I confirmed that myself on the client laptops... Now everyhting works fine again after my last update...

So, that means, that there is no action required on your side for the moment, thanks for listening to me ;)

Just, have you heard similar complains from other customers? What are they doing when they have such problems?

I will continue to report problems here if I get new ones... Hopefully, I don't...

Thanks :)
John.

Hello John,

I'm afraid I haven't heard of any similar issues from any of the other clients I've spoken to. I'm glad you managed to resolve your issues, though. Please keep me posted on how it goes.
