By default browsers dont let you access the upload control by code, and if they did, the OS shouldnt give you access to the file.
You should be able to do a activeX control to do it, or a bit of Java.

Hi Telerik,

I was wondering if there were plans to integrate this into the Asp.net AJAX.  I know there's already a Silverlight demo out there to do this and I know that Telerik includes flash to help with this control (if flash is present on the client's browser).  It seems to be that the drag and drop upload functionality is becoming more and more popular (both MS and Google supporting it in their doc platforms).  Is this a feature Telerik could build into their Asp.net AJAX suite?  It's seems like the base loading of the files could like the file selector could be replaced (as an option) by a drag and drop drop panel.

I'd love this and so would my users!

Hello Chris,

We are researching the possibilities for adding such functionality to RadAsyncUpload. It is likely that we will do it, for the browsers that support the feature.

Is there any progress being made in this area?  We've been receiving several requests for this functionality.

Thanks
