I have noticed that drag and drop does not work on the MS Edge browser. Do you know if this a temporary glitch or permanent?

Hello Matt,
We are aware of this problem and it is due to a bug in Edge browser. The issue is reported to Microsoft and it has been discussed in several other forum threads, pointed in the report by Tsvetomir Tsonev as well. In addition, even if you try to drag and drop a picture in an empty Edge tab to load it, you won't be able to as the drop is forbidden as well.

Supposedly, this was fixed by MS. I have noticed in some instances that it is working. However, when I try it with any of my Telerik controls, it still does not.
Can you provide a status update?

Hello Matt,
I was able to upgrade to the version of Edge, which the upload via Drag&Drop should be fixed, and indeed the RadAsyncUpload still has some issues. The Drag&Drop functionality only works for specified DropZones.
I have forwarded this issue to our developer team for further investigation and you can vote for the public item and track its status below:
