Domain Data Source

I have read this blog post about using the Domain Data Source to populate a RadGrid:

I have the same problem as the person that posted a comment about it.  That being, I have the Domain Data Source bound to the grid just like it shows in the example, but I can't get the child tables of the hierarchy to correspond with the selection of the main grid.  I see at the bottom of the page, that support for QueryParameters is available, but I'm stuck?  There are several options in the QueryParameters and I can't get any of them to work.  Is there an example of this somewhere?

Excuse us for the late response  - could you specify what version of Visual Studio and RIA Services you are using? Could you also point what version of the DomainDataSource control you are using - the one from codeplex?

Hi Matt,

Just to give you more information on the issue you have faced - I tested your application scenario with WCF RIA Services for SilverLight 4.0 and Visua Studio 2010, and RadGrid works all right. I am also attaching a small sample that should serve you as a guideline.

One thing that I suspect might by the reason for the issue on your side is the fact that besides the QueryParameters for the data source of the nested table views you need to specify also a QueryName (i.e. a select method) that takes into account those parameters.

Do take a look at the attached sample at how I have implemented this and let us know how it goes.
