Does RadEditor Lite support HTML5? Or will it strip out HTML5 tags like <video> or <nav> etc?

Hello Vincent Lai,

We stopped enhancing the Lite version of RadEditor for MOSS two years ago. So you can try pasting HTML5 code in Html mode of the control and hope that the content filters will not mess it up, but officially this is not supported.  Also keep in mind that in WCM and list scenarios the built in MOSS content filters will strip HTML5 tags.

Thanks. How about the RadEditor full version? Can I input HTML5 tags using RadEditor in WCM and list scenarios for SharePoint 2007?

Hello Vincent Lai,

No you can not input HTML5 tags in WCM of list scenario. The MOSS content filters will strip them when the page is submitted to the server.
