Hello Everybody,

We are trying to run the PushPlugin but it seems that window.plugins is undefined, when the project is ran in the simulator.

While googling, i found this thread - http://www.icenium.com/resources/forums/icenium-general-discussion/childbrowser-plug-in-how-to-use-it- - where there is a comment that Plugins can only be tested on real devices (When the project is deployed on real device)

Is this still the case ?
If not, how do i get rid of the "There is no Proejct Item on that Location" Error ?

All The Best,
Rado

No, the simulator doesn't support plugins. See the blog-posting: http://www.icenium.com/blog/icenium-team-blog/2013/06/25/custom-cordova-plugins-with-icenium-and-more

Custom plugins will not work in the simulator. You could provide your own mock of the plugin's API, if you really needed to – but running the application on an actual device is the best way to ensure that it functions properly.

Hello and thanks for the response :)

I don't know if there's a difference between the custom plugins that you are importing or the ones, that are listed in the Plugins tab  (PushPlugin, Barcode Scanner, SQLite, Child Browser) - i am talking for the PushPlugin from that list.

But i guess there's no support to run it in the Simulator.
