I successfully added a pdf icon to MOSS that shows up in search and document libraries.  But the pdf icon does not show up next to links created using the RAD Editor for MOSS 2007 (full version).  Only a blank document shows up.  Is it possible to add document type icons to the RAD Editor for MOSS 2007?

Hello Tom,

The document manager of RadEditor does not offer the requested functionality. Our suggestion is to use the default MOSS link manager instead of the Link manager of RadEditor. To enable this dialog, open the the ToolsFile.xml which is located in the following folder:

/Program Files/Common Files/Microsoft Shared/web server extensions/wpresources/RadEditorSharePoint/4.3.1.0__1f131a624888eeed/RadControls/Editor/

and modify the the following tag

   <tool name="LinkManager" shortcut="CTRL+K"/>

to

   <tool name="MossLinkManager" shortcut="CTRL+K"/>
