Hi all,

I'm a bit confused here. When users are browsing site collection with the url of the site collection in upper case the Telerik document manager shows "Not Found" next to each folder instead of the folder name.

Is there something I can do about it or is it a Telerik bug ?

For instance: :
- http://myintranet/mysitecollection/mysite/Pages/Page.aspx ==> the Document Manager works fine
- http://myintranet/MYSITECOLLECTION/mysite/Pages/Page.aspx ==> the Document Manager shows NOT FOUND next to all folders (see attachment).

Kind regards,

Sébastien

Hi Sébastien,

"NOT FOUND" folders appears in the FileExplorer's TreeView, when the user has no reading permissions for the corresponding library. Since 5.7.2 version of RadEditor for MOSS there have been a SPOptions-DisplayNotFoundLibraries property, which controls the display of these folders. If you set it to false, they will not appear. So what I suggest you to do is check the access rights for the libraries or add the following line in the ConfigFile.xml or ListConfigFile.xml files, which are located in the /Program Files/Common Files/Microsoft Shared/web server extensions/wpresources/RadEditorSharePoint/5.x.x.0__1f131a624888eeed/Resources/ folder (Set Properties Via Config File):
<property name="SPOptions-DisplayNotFoundLibraries">false</property>

Hi,

Thanks for your answer, but the problem is that the user HAS the appropriate permissions to see those folders. The Nof Found folders only appears if the URL of the Site Collection is typed in uppercase instead of lower case. See the example I've given in the first post.

Kind regards,

Sébastien.

Hello Sébastien,

Yes, we are aware of this problem (the case sensitivity of the URL). Unfortunately currently there is no known workaround for it. I will rise the priority of the log item in our bug-tracking system, so we will look for a solution again. However I cannot provide you with an exact estimation of when it will be fixed.

Dear,

Do you have an update on this issue ? We are blocked at the European Commission with our projects around Sharepoint. We really need a solution for this problem (the case sensitivity of the URL). You were talking about a bug-tracking system, do you mean this ticket would be visible in the IssueTracker ? Under which number ?

Many thanks in advance

Hi Johnny,

Unfortunately currently there is no known workaround this problem. At this point the case sensitivity of URL should be strictly respected.
