Hello,

I had a stable version of RadControls Q3 2008, Framework 2.0 in DNN4.8.2.
I copied this project and I made many upgrades, so I'm using now RadControls Q1 2009, Framework 3.5 in DNN5.0.1

Since I did all these changes, the behavior of my raddocks is different for the two projects : docks are floating at the top left of my DNN site. However, I don't change anthing in my first project in Q3 2008. Other RAD components seems to be well displayed.

Have you got an idea please ?

Hello,

I'm not sure what causes this problem on your side. We made some changes in the RadDock control but they are related to the its better collaboration with Ajax. I think that the problem could be related to the fact that DNN 4.8.2 works in QuirksMode but DNN5.0.1 has a XHTML transitional doctype. Without having a better view over your case however, I cannot be sure.
Could you please send us a PA for DNN so we could try to reproduce the problem on our side? Once we can recreate your setup and the problem itself, we will do our best to provide you with solution.

Best wishes,

I tested your dock sample and it worked on my machine, so I searched why my code was not operational (floating docks windows at top left of my site). I observed that my raddockzones and radocks never mentioned Width properties ; so, I added Width="100%" for each of them.
It's working great after that, and if I'm removing Width, it's always working. I don't understand this behavior but it seems Width is recommanded.
