I want to display a tooltip for data points on the selectionPreview area on the TimeBar when the user does a mouseover on a RadColumnSparkline within a RadTimeBar.  Is there a way to do this, as the selectionThumbPreview on the RadTimeBar is displayed in this area?

Hello Frans,

The intervals of the timeBar are arranged over the content of the timeBar, so that you can select a time interval or intervals by clicking or click-and -drag.

In case you want, you can use a custom theme for the timeBar control and rearrange its elements so that the content of the control shows on top of the time intervals. However, you should keep in mind that in this case, you will not be able to change the selection of the timeBar, when you click on the RadColumnSparkline control, simply because you will be clicking on the sparkline itself. Please refer to our online documentation for additional information on custom themes.

In case you are using the latest version of the controls (Q1 2012 SP1), you can use implicit styles instead of a custom theme. For additional information, please refer to this forum post.
