Hi there,  

I want to upload a local pdf file and display it in a telerik radwindow. I am using I want to upload a local pdf file and display it in a telerik rad window. I am using html placeholder. how should I set my sourceurl so I can display this uploaded local file in the window?

Hello Ruonan,

It's better to use the RadPdfView control to display the pdf file in the RadWindow. Please have a look at this demo as it can get you started. Let us know if have more questions.

Hi there, 

thanks for  your reply. 
my company is not using the most recent telerik version, so i think the radpdfviewer is not available for me. I am using 
telerik:RadHtmlPlaceholder instead. the only problem is it use the same setting with local pdf tool. there are too many stuff on the toolbar, which is my default adobe setting. may i know if there is a way to remove that from code behind?thanks!

Hi Ruonan,

 Unfortunately the RadHtmlPlaceHolder has no control over the way the PDF files are displayed in the browser. However, you can use the approach described here. I hope this info will help you.
