Editing the project properties and selecting the iOS tab, un-selecting the "iPad" option under "Device Families" such that only the "iPhone" option is selected does NOT appear to work. When installed on an iPad the app should have the "phone" frame around it with the 1x and 2x buttons.
I also tried adding my own info.plist and editing the appropriate setting, but it appears that when building this option is overwritten with the incorrect options.

Hi Adam,
This is a bug in the Icenium extension for Visual Studio that we would address for the upcoming release scheduled for mid November. The only workaround we can offer for the time being is to use Mist or Graphite to build your project.
