Disable Down Key to open calendar control

Hi, it seems that the down key by default will open the calendar control.  Is there a way to disable this?  I have a scenario where i have a datepicker in a column in a grid and i need to retain the ability when i hit the down key to move to the next row and we dont care if the down key opens the calendar.

Nevermind, ive figured it out.  override ProcessKey and dont call the base if its key.down
