Question:
Is there a way to customize the icons so I can allow only 2 settings, like ITS GOOD or ITS  BAD, like thumbs UP or thumbs DOWN?  I can see we can set it to only 2 options, but then I'm getting 2 hearts or stars.  Can I set it to a custom graphic for each choice, and then calculate a score of +1, -1 or 0 for no selection?

Commentary:
Thanks for adding this control, its a very cool control when doing some UI like perhaps Netflix.  However, am I the only one who feels like a scale of 1-5 is a bit Web 1.0?  What's hot right now is a digg.com style digg / bury button.  For a lot of social media sites like reddit etc, you really just want to either promote content or demote content, so when you crowd source users have less friction.  They can think less; it's generally good or generally not good, rather than rating how good it is.

Hi David Berman,
Thank you for your great feedback. Unfortunately, this is not possible with the current implementation of the rating control.  We do have an idea, however, to allow our customers to define such a rating control. Basically, we intent to introduce an Items collection for the control and thus allow you to configure each rating option (image, hover image, selected image, tooltip, value, etc.) separately.
