In the article http://www.telerik.com/help/aspnet-ajax/different-configuration-files-for-different-webs.html you describe how to create a configuration file (like ListConfigFile.xml or ToolsFile.xml) for each web (teamsite) in a MOSS or WSS environment.

Is it also possible to have different configuration files for each Site Collection? My scenario: for one site collection (and all webs or teamsite in it) I would like to have a set of configuration files. As the creation of webs is a dynamic process, I already changed the feature scope to "site" (nice feature!), but now I also need that behaviour for the config files.

I tried to create a config file for the top level site, which works perfectly for that web, but is not 'inherited' by its subwebs.

Is there a way of creating a set of config files for a specific (entire) site collection (without messing up other site collections)?

If not: could you please add that to the next release of RadEditor MOSS?

Hi Plopper,

Currently the desired scenario is not supported - the unique configuration files can be applied only to Site Level, not to Site Collection.

OK - Thanks for the reply. Any chance this feature will be added in a future release?

This feature enhancement has already been added to our database. It should be included in the next RadEditor for MOSS release.
