Hi
I need to be able to identify a device running my application. This is part of my authentication process.
I have tried using device.uuid but the problem here is that the UUID is not  particular to a specific device. It is generated for the application but changes if i redeploy the application to the same device.
i know that apple are doing away with UDID but that seems to be unique to the device.

In Icenium, is there a way to retrieve the UDID or serial Number or any identifier specific to the device?

Regards,
Av

Hi Avesh,

You can check out this custom Cordova plugin which allows you to generate a secure UDID for iOS. Here is our documentation about integrating custom Cordova plugins in Icenium.

Hope this helps,
